The agreement includes Direct-to-Home (DTH) distribution as part of a premium bouquet uplinked from Es’hailSat’s state-of-the-art teleport facility in Doha.
Es’hailSat has expanded its video distribution offering at the 26° East orbital position with the addition of Sama Jordan TV, further strengthening its presence as a key satellite broadcasting hub for the Middle East and North Africa.
Under the new agreement, Sama Jordan TV will broadcast via Es’hailSat’s Es’hail-2 satellite, enabling the Jordan-based news channel to reach viewers across the MENA region. The partnership includes Direct-to-Home distribution as part of a premium channel bouquet uplinked from Es’hailSat’s advanced teleport facility in Doha.
The move further reinforces the 26° East orbital slot as a preferred video distribution hub for broadcasters seeking wide regional coverage. It also follows a series of recent expansion agreements by Es’hailSat, including partnerships with Roya Media Group and El Ikhbariya, as the company continues to attract both established broadcasters and digital-first content platforms transitioning to satellite distribution.
The broadcast operations are supported through Es’hailSat’s Al Ghuwayriyah Teleport, which received Tier 4 certification from the World Teleport Association earlier in 2025. The certification represents the highest level of operational reliability and security within satellite ground infrastructure.
Commenting on the partnership, Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari, President and CEO of Es’hailSat, said: “Es’hailSat is delighted to welcome Sama Jordan TV channel and bring on board one of the region’s leading news broadcasters to our satellite hotspot. The reliability and expertise in providing satellite services by Es’hailSat aligns perfectly with Sama Jordan’s vision to serve as a leading news broadcaster.”
Rabea Al-Awamleh, CEO of Sama Jordan TV, noted that the decision to broadcast via 26° East was driven by the orbital position’s strategic importance. “This ensures that Sama Jordan TV will be alongside the majority of key channels in the region that also transmit through Es’hailSat, strengthening our presence and accessibility to audiences,” she stated.
Sama Jordan TV is now live on the Es’hail-2 satellite bouquet, marking another milestone in Es’hailSat’s continued efforts to support broadcasters across the region. As the company looks ahead, it remains focused on leveraging its co-located Es’hail-1 and Es’hail-2 satellite assets to deliver connectivity solutions for broadcasting, government, enterprise, and mobility sectors throughout MENA.
