Lots of layers to this onion. 1. Weather- a rainy, cooler July than normal. Notice how violence spiked on hot days and particularly, nights . 2. Police are now ordered to be on the spot paramedics. That probably saves a life or two. 3. Spot Shotters abscence has curtailed / eliminated previously reported incidents as soon as they occur. 4. Perhaps the bangers have worn each other out or, more likely, have been shipped out to the previously low crime suburbs and now live with Big Momma in the proliferating Section Eight housing? Actually it’s up 10% so far this year over last…
The violence we read about in the paper and on tv is really just a tip of the iceberg. Mugging,robberies,domestic abuse etc are crimes that don’t make headlines.
Amazing how nationwide immigration enforcement drops the murder rate precipitously. No connection there, right?

It’s pretty clear that a nationwide crackdown on immigration would cause a nationwide decline in crime the murder rate. This is common sense. I could tell you the sky is blue and like some inane redditor, you’d scream at me demanding sources.
Not impressed with this monthly total.
Just read one day’s reporting by CWB Chicago and you know what kind of awful place this is.
Oh, yeah, at least CTA NO VIOLENCE TOLERATED signs are up. That signage should have gone up and been enforced years ago. Kinda hard to clean up the streets with Far Left leadership and fewer police.
