Welcome back to Scenic Six.

I’m vacationing on the Cape this week, where my family has rented the same house in Harwich for the past 12 years. So I was obviously delighted when Boston.com readers named Harwich their favorite town on the Cape this past spring. I’ll share more about Harwich when I return.

What readers think about the proposed JetBlue terminal at Logan

• The Sail250 tall ships may be gone, but there are still plenty of maritime celebrations going on in Bristol, R.I. in August: The 43rd Annual Black Ships Festival Aug. 14-15; the 13th annual Bristol Harbor Festival & Blessing of the Fleet on Aug. 15; and the Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta Aug. 28-30.

• The Milford Oyster Festival, a staple since 1975, will take place Aug. 14-15 and bring music, beverages, food, rides, and, of course, locally sourced oysters to Fowler Field in Milford, Conn. 

• If panoramic mountain views are on your summer wish list, The Manchester View in Vermont has rooms with private balconies overlooking the Green Mountains and was just renovated in time for its 50th anniversary next year.
