СпутникиРНSpaceXРоскосмосNASAOur organization has several iPad Pro (9.7”) devices that cannot be upgrade beyond iOS 16. The Autodesk Forma iPad app previously worked on these devices until the minimum supported iOS version was increased.
We understand there may be technical reasons for increasing the minimum supported iOS version. However, we would appreciate the product team’s evaluation of whether iOS 16 support could be restored, if technically feasible, or whether there are alternative options for customers with existing hardware.
Customer impact:
Multiple field devices are no longer able to use the Forma iPad app.
The devices are otherwise fully functional but cannot be upgraded beyond iOS 16.
This may require customers to replace working hardware solely to continue using the application.
We would appreciate clarification on:
Whether supporting iOS 16 again is technically feasible.
If not, the technical constraints or platform dependencies that prevent continued support.
