The iconic Merlion gets a colourful makeover with The Blooming Hearts Fortune Merlion, a towering 2.8 metre tall interactive sculpture that also happens to be Singapore’s largest mechanical Fortune Merlion. Watch as its head and arm come to life through animated movements, while learning how the installation was created using recycled PET bottle flakes, making it both a striking photo spot and a celebration of sustainable design

A Singapore Night Festival favourite returns with Tales of Earth and Sea, a spectacular projection mapping show that transforms the façade of the National Museum of Singapore. Inspired by local folklore and accompanied by an original soundtrack created by artists from Singapore and Malaysia, the immersive experience blends storytelling, music and technology into one mesmerising show.

Swap your usual evening stroll for The Lost Legacy of Fort Canning: The Forbidden Hill, a 70 minute immersive walking trail through Fort Canning Park. Featuring atmospheric soundscapes and live traditional Malay dance, the experience uncovers the myths and mysteries surrounding Bukit Larangan and transports visitors back to the days of early Singapura

At Bugis Street Art Lane, Stormy Straits recreates the dramatic monsoon storms once navigated by Bugis seafarers in the early 1800s. Towering illuminated cloud like sculptures, moving shadows and glowing lighthouses invite visitors to step into the daring voyages that shaped Singapore’s maritime history.

One of the festival’s most thought provoking installations is You and I, Believing..., presented by the Yellow Ribbon Community Arts Festival Committee 2026. The moving sculpture reveals a mirrored core on one side and intimate photographs on the other, encouraging visitors to look beyond labels and reflect on empathy, community and the power of second chances

Instead of simply admiring the art, why not help create it? At Capitol Singapore, Once Upon A Time features 30 handcrafted animal sculptures made from textile waste and retired uniforms, inspired by regional folktales including Sang Kancil and Sang Buaya. Visitors are invited to add their own stitches, buttons and embellishments, allowing the installation to evolve throughout the festival.

Families and animal lovers alike will enjoy Lovebug by ART ZOO. Inspired by Singapore’s folklore and native biodiversity, the colourful installation features playful interpretations of the endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur, oversized saga seeds and local flora such as the rafflesia and nutmeg. It’s one of the festival’s most cheerful and Instagram worthy stops.
