Earlier this week, Chanel unveiled a new campaign starring Margot Robbie and Kylie Minogue - and it didn't take long to go viral.

Under the direction of creative lead Matthieu Blazy, who stepped into the role just six months ago, the house's signature bouclé has been firmly thrust back into the spotlight. 

Classic jackets remain central, but updated silhouettes - particularly skirts - are quickly gaining momentum as one of the season's defining trends.

Unsurprisingly, the designer's iconic aesthetic has already trickled down to the high street, arriving just in time for spring.

Leading the charge is M&S, which has nailed the trend with its latest drop. 

Standout pieces include a blue denim bouclé mini dress with a flattering square neckline and shift silhouette, alongside an elegant ivory version featuring a refined bateau neckline and thigh-skimming hem.

Effortlessly chic, both styles can be dressed up or down - pairing just as well with ballet flats as they do with cowboy boots. 

And with price tags of just £38 and £26 respectively, they're likely to sell out fast.

Elsewhere, high street favourites including John Lewis, Boden, Karen Millen and Mint Velvet have all embraced the bouclé revival, offering their own modern takes on the timeless tweed trend.

Back on the runway, one of the standout pieces from Blazy's debut collection was a boxy tweed jacket, retailing at £7,000.

Michelle Obama was among the first to be spotted wearing it with the matching trousers - sparking what many have dubbed 'Chanelmania'.

For those looking to recreate the look without the designer price tag, there are plenty of stylish alternatives. Think Boden's Holly bouclé knitted jacket (£77.40), John Lewis' bouclé jacket (£99), or Mango's tweed jacket (£49).

Each offers a timeless, wardrobe-ready appeal - proof that this trend is as enduring as it is elegant.
