SOLNECHNOGORSK /Moscow Region/, July 27. /TASS/. Russia, which cannot compete in the scale of financial investment in information technology, must succeed in this area through uniqueness, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Territory of Meanings forum.

"Monetary parameters do not always determine the degree of development or success of an IT project. We must take a different approach here and make a breakthrough by uniqueness - by introducing some unique features," the Kremlin spokesman noted.

"As global practice shows, sometimes the cheapest startups can achieve global reach due to talent, efficiency, and relevance," he added. "And this is more than applicable in the tech environment, and we will have to follow this path."

"You will have to do all this," Peskov told the forum participants.
