So the question is, what defines the actual defalt state of the filters? Some might argue that the default reset state occurs when all the URL parameters are empty. But it seems like that the way CS Form works is different. It refers to the default filter state as it was during the initial page load. If there were any parameters set by a URL, they are now seen as the default state. This could potentially confuse users. Can you explain the logic of CS Forms behind that? Is there a way to reassigne the default reset parameters for the button even if when the page was opened some of them were preselected?
In my case, even if I send the category inside URL when going from the single post page to the archive and see the filtered posts as I expected, I might still think that clicking Reset will remove all the parameters on the post archive including the one I just passed over from the single post page.
There could be times when we need a different default state. This can happen when some settings, like the current year and month, change based on the current date. But even then, if we click the Reset button after page load, a complete cleanup of all the parameters is more in line with user expectations, I suppose.
