Alexander Novak cited calls in Germany to resume purchases of Russian gas as an example
MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/. Russia sees continued interest in Russian fuel from European consumers, including amid calls in Germany to resume purchases of Russian gas, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview to Marina Kim on the Soloviev Live television.
"Recently, we have seen more and more politicians and countries saying that it was a mistake to stop purchases of Russian gas or Russian oil, or petroleum products," he said. "The countries that still benefit from exemptions are calling for these exemptions to be extended. In other words, we see interest in Russian energy resources."
