BRUSSELS, September 30. /TASS/. No one in the European Union is even considering the danger of a possible nuclear conflict with Russia over arms supplies to Ukraine, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev said at the defense and space summit in Brussels.

"No one [in the EU] is raising the question about nuclear risk," Radev said.

"We have been trying to achieve a conventional victory over the biggest nuclear power [by delivering arms to Ukraine] <…> without having capabilities to counter their supersonic weapons. <…> There is a risk and we need to calculate [it]," the prime minister noted.

Radev once again called for opening diplomatic channels with Russia.
