Vladimir Zelensky only needs even more money from the West, not a settlement in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik told Izvestia, adding that Kiev’s "exotic proposals" for peace are merely a sham intended to simulate peacemaking efforts.

Specifically, he noted that European countries "have already promised Kiev colossal sums of money" to continue the conflict.

"In fact, Zelensky and his clique have no need for a settlement, what they need is money," Miroshnik said. "Their ‘exotic proposals’ for peace are merely a simulation of peacemaking efforts, devoid of any realistic steps whatsoever that would lead to a settlement," he stressed.
