MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov and his Belarusian counterpart Igor Sekreta held a meeting on Tuesday where they discussed approaches towards building relations with some Western international bodies, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, Ryabkov and Sekreta had a candid talk about foreign policy coordination and interministerial cooperation in line with the Program on the Foreign Policy Coordination of the Member States of the Treaty Establishing the Union State for 2024-2026. "Specifically, in a spirit of partnership, the sides ‘synchronized their watches’ and compared their approaches towards building relations with several Western international organizations," the ministry added.

"The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further close coordination and joint efforts to defend common interests in the international arena," the ministry noted.
