Sienna in Coronation Street sparked concern with her weird behaviour during Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap.
New spoilers may have explained everything though amid an accusation that is made this week. Sienna and colleague Asha Alahan decided to give romance a go, and went on a date on Wednesday.
As the pair returned to the flat that Asha shares with her ex and close pal Nina Lucas after the date, everything seemed to be going well. But when Sienna's phone rang, she suddenly got up and went to speak to someone.
She looked alarmed by the phone call, and disappeared for a while. When she came out of the room, she suddenly made her excuses and told Asha she had to go.
As Asha and Nina, and pal Amy Barlow, stared on confused, it was clear something had happened. Asha asked if everything was okay but Sienna didn't go into detail and instead said she had to leave immediately, and fled the flat.
Asha didn't understand what was going on, but new spoilers may have explained what Sienna was so worried about. New details reveal that Sienna's mother Sadie is about to appear on the soap.
It soon emerges Sadie, who has scenes with Debbie Webster, has dementia. Spoilers suggest that Sienna has been helping to look after her mother, but thinks escalate next week, and she's forced to look into getting help.
So it seems the reason Sienna was rushing off was because perhaps something happened with her mum. It's implied the phone call was linked to this, while this will be explained in upcoming episodes of this is the case.
Spoilers for next week reveal that Debbie, who also has dementia, offers to help Sadie who is looking for her daughter in Weatherfield. Debbie is taken aback when Sadie snaps at her.
Later on the street, Debbie recognises Sadie. Sienna rushes over to her mum, but Sadie doesn’t recognise her and lashes out. Sienna rejects Asha’s offer of help and gently leads her Mum away.
The next day, Asha and Sienna discuss her Mum’s dementia and various care options. Soon, Asha and Bernie do their best to convince Sienna that it’s in her Mum’s best interests to find her a good nursing home where she’ll be safe and happy.
Later, Asha explains to Dev how she accompanied Sienna, her Mum and her brother to look round a nursing home but her mum freaked out when she realised what was happening.
