LUGANSK, July 28. /TASS/. Specialists of the 45th Separate Guards Engineer Brigade of Russia’s Battlegroup West have created a tracked mine clearance robotic vehicle dubbed Ruka (Arm) capable of lifting up to 40 kg, the robotic vehicle operator with the call sign Shurup told TASS.
As the military specialist explained, the RTK-300 Ruka ground robotic vehicle has been created to safely defuse various objects and unexploded ordnance in remote control mode and carry out their safe disposal.
"The Ruka robotic arm is intended to defuse unexploded shells and fallen drones, specifically, when there are magnetic or motion sensors [in mines or improvised explosive devices]," he said.
As its specific feature, the robotic vehicle has smooth movements, he added.
