MOSCOW, July 27. /TASS/. The liberation of the settlement of Kommunarovka has allowed Russian forces to expand their zone of control north of Ternovatoye and disrupt Ukrainian defenses in the area, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"The liberation of the settlement of Kommunarovka enabled units of Battlegroup East to expand their zone of control north of Ternovatoye and undermine the stability of Ukrainian army defenses in this sector. The capture of the area creates conditions for Battlegroup East to continue advancing in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions," the statement reads.
