Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Christopher “Tricky” Stewart has signed a global publishing administration agreement with BMG.

Stewart, who was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, has a body of work across the pop/R&B and hip-hop spectrum that includes Rihanna’s Diamond-certified “Umbrella,” Beyoncé’s 11x Platinum-certified “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” Justin Bieber’s 12x Platinum-certified “Baby,” Mariah Carey’s 3x Platinum-certified “Touch My Body,” and Tyla’s 3x Platinum-certified global breakout “Water.”  He has landed six No. 1s on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Among the other artists he has written and/or produced include Mary J. Blige, Ciara, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Alicia Keys, and BTS. He has also discovered and developed talent, including The-Dream, Frank Ocean and Ester Dean.

Stewart, who is a past president of A&R at Epic Records, currently serves as chairman of the Recording Academy’s Atlanta chapter and co-chair of its Songwriters & Composers Wing. He is also co-owner of RZ3 Recordings. He was formerly with Spirit Music Group.
