Insurance broker Gallagher has relaunched its aviation insurance web portal — Jacinth — which provides clients with an interconnected insurance management system.

The new enhanced digital platform is designed to help clients drive efficiency and offers analytical insights on their risk profile.

The functionality includes the ability to track aircraft fleets in real time; detailed claim information and analysis; dynamic premium feedback based on exposures; documents and insurance certificates (which can be downloaded instantly), and comprehensive reporting tools to support risk assessments and insurance program adjustments.

At the core of the updated Jacinth platform is its new, smart-capture technology which enables risk managers to feed accurate, real-time asset data, such as aircraft information, directly into the platform, said Gallagher, explaining that insurers are connected with live aircraft transponder tracking that enables dynamic pricing based on real-time exposures.

The platform is available as standard to Gallagher’s aviation clients.

“Jacinth has been built by our team from the ground up and integrated with our processes specifically to serve clients managing aviation risks,” commented Richard Adams, senior partner at Gallagher, in a statement.

By coupling policy information with external data sources, clients can access dynamic pricing aligned to real exposure, he said, noting that Jacinth provides information on exposure patterns, claims performance and cost trajectories.
