BLUE PRINCE (7.51, Nap) could be just the tonic for punters at Salisbury on Tuesday evening in the Highclere Castle Gin Handicap. The five-year-old, trained by David Evans, won over seven furlongs at the Wiltshire track in June when travelling smoothly throughout to finish two lengths ahead of Dragon King. And he showed his well-being last time when an eyecatching third under Tuesday's rider Rossa Ryan to Grizedale over today’s distance of a mile. My selection made good headway inside the final furlong before finishing strongly but could not quite reach the leaders. The form looks solid as the winner ran away with a handicap at Newbury a week later. And Blue Prince has only three rivals to beat today.

At Wolverhampton, MASSIMO BLUE (9.00, nb) is fancied to overcome top weight and take the finale.
