Simone Biles has revealed she recently underwent a “procedure.”

The 29-year-old Olympic gold medalist shared a picture to her Instagram story Thursday, July 23, taken from a hospital room.

Biles, who wore a patient gown and cap, smiled in the photo while taking a selfie next to husband Jonathan Owens, who turned 31 on July 22.

“His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure,” she wrote above the snap and included multiple teary-eyed emoji and white hearts.

She added that she awoke from the procedure singing a song by rapper BossMan Dlow.

Her post did not provide more details about her hospital visit, including if it was related to her health scare last month.

On June 6, Biles informed fans via her Instagram story that she was in the hospital.

She uploaded a picture that showed her wearing hospital bands on her wrist and wrote, “I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age.”

Biles continued, “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”

She did not clarify what happened and has not opened up about the health scare since then.

However, she did share at the time that she had to go through the ordeal alone as her NFL star husband, who plays for the Indianapolis Colts, was away at practice.

“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan (Owens) was in Indy for practices,” Biles wrote.

She said following the situation she had been resting in bed and would explain more “sooner or later.”

Biles ended her post by thanking her friends and family who checked in on her during the scary time. She later uploaded a picture of her lying in bed with her dogs and an image of her heart rate.

Biles, who has not confirmed her plans for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, recently took the stage at the ESPY Awards on July 15. She presented the award for best team and walked the red carpet beforehand with Owens.
