Fresh off a stunning surgical procedure that altered his face, Brazilian football star Vinicius Junior was seen enjoying time with his girlfriend after an early World Cup exit.

The Real Madrid man was out in the sun at Reserva Beach in Rio de Janeiro with his on-and-off girlfriend Virginia Fonseca.

Cameras captured an intimate moment between the two as Fonseca leaned in and planted a kiss on the footballer.

At one point, Fonseca even noticed the cameras and flashed a smile towards the photographer.

Fonseca and her man continued to enjoy the sun as they relaxed before what should be a lengthy football season.

The photos emerged just hours after it was revealed that Vinicius underwent a stunning procedure.

According to Brazilian news outlet TMC, following Brazil's defeat to Norway in the Round of 16, Vinicius headed straight to a dermatologist in Goiania when he landed back in the country following a short vacation in Europe with Fonseca.

A number of photos of the 26-year-old appearing unrecognizable after the op have gone viral on social media, with fans blown away by his remarkable transformation.

Virginia shared a snap of them at her new gym on Monday, having clearly got back together after breaking up before the World Cup, while one of his friends also posted footage of his new-and-improved side profile as he signed a Real Madrid jersey for a fan.

Vinicius posed alongside Dr. Alessandro Alarcao, who performed the surgery in Goiania, in another picture that has emerged online.

He underwent the procedure, which 'uses fillers to sculpt the facial contour', to add more definition to his chin after being cruelly mocked over it during the World Cup.

And it seems like the Madrid player is happy with his dramatic new look, as he is all smiles in all of the post-op photos that have surfaced. 

Fans were left astonished by the effect of the surgery on social media, with one writing: 'My brain can't wrap itself around the fact that this is Vini Jr. now, I swear'.

Another joked: 'I'll not believe this until I see him coming out to play a match looking like this'.

'MANNNN WHO THE F*** IS THAT,' a third said in bewilderment.

'Oh my God I don’t even recognize him,' a fourth commented.

While another user put: 'Vinicius jr is the first person in history to look like the AI version of himself'.

Vinicius and Brazil endured a frustrating World Cup before being eliminated by Norway at the last-16 stage.

After finishing top of Group C, despite looking unconvincing in their opening draw against Morocco, they snatched a dramatic 96th-minute win over Japan in the last 32 after flattering to deceive again.

Carlo Ancelotti's men were then outclassed by Norway in New Jersey, with Erling Haaland's late double putting them out of sight before Neymar scored a consolation from the penalty spot with one of the last kicks of the game.

It wasn't a disastrous tournament for Vinicius from an individual standpoint, nevertheless, after he scored four goals before Brazil's exit.

Once his post-World Cup break is over, he will return to Madrid to begin preseason training ahead of the 2026-27 season.
