Self weight removal in results

Good afternoon,  I'm currently in the process of design new structures utilising both the software and predeveloped excel calcs. I've just spotted the following in the results tab whilst investigating differences between the 2 verification means. Note [4] stipulates the removal of selfweight, although the value is set to 0 I currently have a discrepancy in the bottom fibre stress of around 4MPa which is providing me one verification stating the same strand layout is over utilised but well within capacity in the software. Could someone please confirm how the selfweight from the beam in accounted for and is still accounted for within. If it is removed does this mean its not accounted for at all in permanent actions? thanks in advance fill attached for ref.
