Best answer: We test against NVDA and JAWS, but I should note that how you use it will be nothing like how a blind user uses them. I can barely follow along when our blind engineer is using a screen reader.

Best answer: Most teams I know use tools to test rather than trying to use a screen reader themselves. WAVE is pretty popular and has browser plugins
