The community is invited to The Colonnade Center on June 26 for a free watch party featuring a special broadcast of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The choir will perform a musical cantata from the Hollywood Bowl in California. The theme of the evening is “Songs of Hope.”

The choir’s performance serves as the grand culmination of its summer world tour.

“This watch party is an opportunity for our friends, neighbors and relatives to gather together to enjoy uplifting and inspiring music from the Tabernacle Choir at a family-friendly venue,” said Jason Isaacson, a leader for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chattanooga area.

“We're excited to invite our community to join us for a fun watch party and enjoy this incredible concert,” added Dan Wolfe, a leader for the Church of Jesus Christ in the Cleveland area.

“It’s free and open to everyone. It's a wonderful chance to feel uplifted, connect with friends and enjoy music that will inspire all ages."

Special guest artists for the broadcast include Donny Osmond, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Stephanie J. Block, Sebastian Arcelus and the Bonner Family.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with games before the main event, and light refreshments will be served. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.

"In a world that often feels busy and divided, this event offers an opportunity to pause, connect and be uplifted," said Sierra Schell, the local event coordinator. "Through music, community and shared experiences, we are confident every guest will leave with a renewed sense of hope and a reminder of the bonds that unite us."

In conjunction with the event, local Latter-day Saints are working in collaboration with the Samaritan Center of Collegedale to host a school supply drive. This effort focuses on “Empowering Students with Choice,” as described by Wayne Brown of the Samaritan Center.

“At the heart of the program is a commitment to preserving the dignity of every child. Rather than handing out generic, pre-packaged items, the Samaritan Center opens its 'Stock Their Lockers' store, allowing children to experience the joy of personally picking out their own colors, styles and essentials,” Mr. Brown said. “This ensures that local K–12 students head to their first day of class feeling confident and fully prepared.”

Attendees are welcome to bring school supplies to the event, should they desire to donate.
