Riverdance Restaurant will host a special Independence Day celebration this Saturday, bringing together live music from the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, Southern cuisine and a tribute to American heroes overlooking the Tennessee River Gorge. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center and its mission to preserve and share the stories of America’s Medal of Honor Recipients.

The evening will feature a live performance by the full orchestra of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, patriotic programming and a special tribute presented by the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center honoring Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Larry Taylor and his wife, Toni Taylor.

In addition, the Heritage Center will be displaying Capt. Taylor’s Medal of Honor and other artifacts during the special event.

Guests will enjoy Riverdance Restaurant’s “Taste of the South” BBQ buffet, along with additional special event menu items as part of their ticket purchase.

The event will take place at Riverdance Restaurant, 300 The Gorge Dr. in Guild. Doors open at 6 p.m. Central Time, with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera performance beginning at 7:30 p.m. Central Time.

General admission tickets are $100 and include the BBQ buffet and special event menu offerings. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
