The final will see both Spain and Argentina playing in the New York New Jersey Stadium
Spain and Argentina are set to face one another in the Word Cup Final today, after the semi final saw England beaten 2-1 by Argentina. The World Cup final will mark the end of 38 days and 102 matches overall and see both teams playing in the New York New Jersey Stadium.
For those wanting to watch the final tonight, Sunday July 19, ITV and ITVX will be broadcasting the match live and will also be showing the final-half-time show.
The performance will see huge artists like Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber take to the stage. ITV and BBC had initially decided not to broadcast the show, with both services prefering to focus on the highlights and analysis from the opening 45 minutes reports The Mirror.
That decision has now been reversed and the performance will last between 20 and 25 minutes, much longer than the usual 15 minute half time break.
The final will also be shown on BBC One and BBC iplayer with live commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live. The coverage on both platforms will begin at 7pm with the match kicking off at 8pm (BST).
The BBC says that there will also be coverage across their website app live pages and social media channels.
