While some of the latter may seem incidental, they can actually have a huge impact on how you go about processing your work.
PTC has been around since 2012, providing fluff-free tutorials on photo manipulation, compositing, text effects and more. Today's three-minute episode describes the many benefits of Photoshop's just-released Hue/Saturation Invert button that many experienced users have wanted for years.
Instructor Jesus Ramirez is a post-processing specialist who says this useful new tool results from a conversation he had with a senior product manager at Adobe. The previously updated panel made it easier to target colors using the prominent color feature. In his mind, however, one capability was missing: namely, the lack of a simple method for inverting the targeted colors. And surprisingly, Adobe listened!
Ramirez begins with a quick overview of this trick and a demonstration of exactly how it works. He explains real-life methods for using Photoshop's Hue/Saturation Invert button to quickly flip selections and isolate colors faster than was possible in the past.
