Right then, pull up a chair and get the kettle on. The embargo has finally lifted, and I can finally talk about the new Honor 600 series. Honor has been on a bit of a tear lately, and their latest duo—the Honor 600 and the Honor 600 Pro—is looking to settle the “my battery is dead” argument once and for all.

We’ve seen the spec sheets, we’ve poked the buttons, and I’ve got some thoughts. If you’re tired of your phone giving up the ghost halfway through a Saturday night out, you might want to pay attention to this one.

The Big Battery Energy

​Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the 6400mAh battery. That is a proper unit. In an age where some “pro” phones are still hovering around the 5000mAh mark, Honor has gone and stuffed a massive cell into these things.

Both the standard 600 and the Pro model get this long-life battery with 80W wired SuperCharge. If you go for the Pro, you also get 50W wireless charging and 27W reverse charging, which basically turns your phone into a power bank for your mate whose phone is perpetually at 3%

The “AI Everything” Experience

​It’s 2026, so obviously, there’s more AI here than in a sci-fi movie. Running on MagicOS 10 (based on Android 16), Honor has included a dedicated AI Button.

​This isn’t just for asking the weather; it’s got:

• ​AI Screen Suggestions: It tries to guess what you want before you do (slightly creepy, but helpful).
• ​Booking Agent: It can actually help you book things.
• AI Image to Video 2.0: For when your static photos just aren’t dramatic enough. You take a static photo, poke the AI button, and it turns it into a cinematic video clip. It’s not just a cheap filter; it’s actually intelligent. I’ve been turning boring shots of the park into something that looks like a B-roll from a high-budget documentary.
