Day 3 of heat wave brings peak temps into mid-90s for second consecutive day

Wednesday temperatures were quite similar to those observed on Tuesday, reaching the middle 90s at both major airports. That makes it three straight days at or above 90 degrees, qualifying as a heat wave in this part of the country.
