A 22-year-old man was found in North Deering, according to police.
Portland police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man whose body was found in North Deering on Sunday morning.
Police responded to Palmer Avenue and Regan Lane just after 7 a.m. Sunday for a report of an unresponsive man, according to a news release from the department on Tuesday. Portland police spokesperson Brad Nadeau said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the news release. The release did not identify the man.
Nadeau declined to share more information when reached by email on Tuesday.
Investigators asked that anyone with information about the man’s death to contact the police department at 207-874-8575, or text “PPDME” and a message to 847411.
