JHM Hires 5 New Team Members

JHM announces the addition of five new staff members to its team. The firm has hired Gabrielle Cox, Zachary Boyd, Collin Scalla, Jack Pectol and Christian Steinert.

About the hires:

Zachary Boyd is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he earned his degree in accounting in 2025. He is currently continuing his education at Carson-Newman University in pursuit of his master of accountancy while also working toward his CPA license. He was drawn to a career in accounting by his appreciation for detail-oriented, organized work.

Mr. Boyd resides in Hixson with his wife, Kendall. His faith in Jesus Christ shapes the way he approaches his work, relationships and daily life. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and staying active through golf, basketball, and paddle and racquet sports.

Gabrielle Cox joins JHM as a staff accountant after a career in banking, bringing a strong foundation in financial services to her new role. She holds a bachelor of science in business from Rhodes College (2021), a master of accounting from Western Governors University (2025) and is currently pursuing her CPA license. A Chattanooga native, Ms. Cox spends her time outside the office kayaking, competing in trivia and exploring National Parks.

Collin Scalla is a McDonald, Tennessee native who recently graduated from Lee University with a bachelor of science in accounting (2026). Before entering the accounting profession, he spent more than four years working in the automotive industry at Toyota of Cleveland during his college years, where he developed a strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset. Outside of the office, Mr. Scalla is an avid weightlifter and enjoys playing basketball.

Jack Pectol is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (Spring 2026). He first joined JHM as an intern and is now excited to launch his full-time career with the firm while pursuing his CPA license. Mr. Pectol lives in Chattanooga and enjoys an active lifestyle that includes pickleball, soccer and basketball, along with spending time with family and friends.

Christian Steinert earned his bachelor of business administration in accounting from Southern Adventist University in 2026 and is currently pursuing his CPA license. He lives in Harrison with his wife, Meaghan, and their two cats, Dio and Binks. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, fishing and golfing with friends.
