What started as a 14-year-old girl’s idea to earn her own money has become the largest pet waste removal company in the Chattanooga area.

In less than one year, Scoopy Doo LLC has grown from a single customer to more than 150 active clients and 86 five-star reviews, serving dog owners, HOAs, apartment communities and commercial properties across Chattanooga and North Georgia.

The company was founded by Leighton Carter, a local teenager who wanted to build something of
her own.

With her father, Brandon, handling the behind-the-scenes side of the business, the
father-daughter team turned a simple idea - taking the least favorite chore off dog owners’ hands -
into Chattanooga’s fastest-growing pet waste removal service.

“She came to me wanting to start a real business, not just a summer job,” said Brandon, co-owner of Scoopy Doo LLC. “We started with one yard. Less than a year later we’re cleaning up after hundreds of dogs every week and we’ve earned 86 five-star reviews from our neighbors. I’m incredibly proud of what she’s built.”

Scoopy Doo LLC offers weekly, bi-weekly and one-time dog poop cleanup, along with commercial and HOA pet waste removal. The company is fully insured, requires no long-term contracts and sends photo confirmation after every visit so customers know the job is done.

That mix of reliability and friendly, local service is what fueled the company’s rapid growth. Customers across Chattanooga, Hixson, East Brainerd, Ooltewah and into North Georgia have made Scoopy Doo their default choice for keeping yards clean and safe.

“I wanted to prove that a kid could run a real business and do it well,” said Ms. Carter, founder of Scoopy Doo LLC. “Seeing 86 families leave us five-star reviews means everything to me.”
