They shot to fame as the champagne-swilling socialites of SW3 with their dating dramas playing out for all to see on Made In Chelsea over a decade ago.

But it was a more wholesome get-together for former show stars Binky Felstead, Millie Mackintosh and Tiffany Watson as they took their children for a magical day out at LaplandUK in Whitmoor Forest near Ascot, Berkshire, over the weekend. 

Swapping the bright lights of Chelsea for the snow-topped woodland grotto, Binky, 35, was joined by her husband Max Darnton, 37, their sons Wolfie, four, and Wilder, two, and her daughter India, eight, who she co-parents with her MIC co-star ex Josh Patterson, 36.

The family looked as though they were having a ball as they larked about with elves, decorated gingerbread in Mother Christmas' bakery, whizzed around the ice rink and met Father Christmas himself. 

Alongside an adorable gallery of photographs, Binky wrote on Instagram: 'Our most perfect Christmassy family day. @laplanduk - as always you were MAGICAL.

'I first brought India here when she was three and have been lucky enough to come back every year since. The experience just gets better and better & hasn't lost a touch of magic. 

'Wolfie came for the first time last year and today Wilder got to experience this enchanted forest for the first time and meet the legendary Father Christmas! Three very happy 'small folk' & two beaming (slightly tired) 'big folk'.' (sic)

Millie, 36, also treated her daughters Sienna, five, and Aurelia, four, to a festive outing at LaplandUK, a world-class immersive theatre production that re-imagines the untold story of Father Christmas.

The influencer declared it was her 'favourite festive day' as she posted a sweet snap of her girls - who she has with her former Made In Chelsea co-star husband Hugo Taylor, 39 - wearing matching Christmas jumpers while exploring the magical kingdom. 

Tiffany, 32, said she'd had the 'most special day' with her sons Jude, two, and Heath, six months, while Ashley James, 38 - who appeared in Made In Chelsea between 2012 and 2013 - also headed to LaplandUK with her son Alfie, four, daughter Ada, two, and boyfriend Tommy Andrews.

Ashley wrote alongside a gallery of family snaps: 'Today we went to @laplanduk which is the epitome of magic. 

'They just do everything so amazingly - we all love it but seeing Alf and his friend Max was especially special! I also went ice skating with Alf for the first time.'

Prior to heading for her family festive day out, Binky - real name Alexandra Felstead - explained how excited she was to be starting new Christmas traditions with her brood. 

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail last week, she said: 'We've got lots of traditions. We have got a fairy on top of the tree that flies in every year. 

'My mum made this fairy before I was born, and she looks terrifying, but she is the family fairy.

'So, I always make sure I find her in the decorations box before the kids do and put her somewhere around the house and the kids have to go and find her.'

Binky continued: 'Actually, we have a few new [traditions], like we've got an advent calendar, that you can put your own chocolates or sweets in, but we also put little tags in that say, "We're going to do a gingerbread house".

'And "We're going to have a family games night together" or this weekend "We're going to Lapland UK".

'So it's not all about the chocolate and the sweets, which my son is livid about, but my daughter, she is more up for doing that so that's quite a nice one.'

Binky detailed the family's plans for the big day this year and revealed they will be jetting off to spend Christmas in the sunshine for a change. 

She said: 'It's all about being a family. We're going to be in the sun this year, which is really lovely. 

'We never really do sunny Christmases. I quite like a winter Christmas, but we're just switching it up a bit this year.'
