There have been some enormous transactions in this year’s NFL offseason, with some almost breaking the internet.

The Los Angeles Rams traded for Myles Garrett in the real blockbuster move of this offseason.

Garrett is not the only superstar Sean McVay and Les Snead have traded for after losing out to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game in January.

The Seahawks have lost Super Bowl MVP running-back Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs, in what was one of the big free agency pick-ups.

But what about the transactions that may have gone under the radar? NFL Analysis has delved into this offseason’s moves and picked out some that may not have been given the recognition they deserved.

Tyler Allgeier (RB) – Arizona Cardinals

This will naturally go under the radar after the Arizona Cardinals later picked Jeremiyah Love with the third overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft.

However, the free agent pick-up of Tyler Allgeier was a really smart piece of business by the Cardinals.

Allgeier left the Atlanta Falcons following an eight-touchdown 2025 season and signed for the Cardinals – who desperately needed additions at running-back – on a two-year, $12.3 million deal.

Considering Kenneth Gainwell signed a two-year, $14m deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Cardinals landed a real bargain with Allgeier.

How many snaps he will now be provided remains to be seen, though.

Nolan Teasley (GM) – Minnesota Vikings

Moving away from strictly player transactions, the Minnesota Vikings have made a change at GM following Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s departure in 2025.

A poor succession plan at quarterback amid Sam Darnold’s move to Seattle, where he lifted the Super Bowl in his opening season, was one of the big contributing factors towards the change.

Ironically, the Vikings have opted to sign Seattle’s former Assistant GM Nolan Teasley following years under the guidance of John Schneider.

Teasley spent the last 13 seasons in the Pacific North West, where he has learned from the very best in the current NFL Executive of the Year.

Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) – Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward enjoyed a promising rookie season with the Tennessee Titans, but it was clear that he needed more weapons in his offense.

The Titans have not wasted any time and signed Wan’Dale Robinson from the New York Giants on a four-year, $78 million.

After seeing Malik Nabers go down with an ACL tear, Robinson suddenly became WR1 in New Jersey and provided his first 1000+ yard season.

Having also added Carnell Tate with the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft, the Titans have certainly provided Ward with some better options to aim for.

Cobb Bryant (S) – Chicago Bears

There could be an argument that this one may not quite fall into the category of ‘under the radar’, but the Chicago Bears have landed a significant addition to their defense this offseason.

Coby Bryant’s time in Seattle saw him pick off the ball seven times and create seven forced fumbles.

This cornerback-turned-safety is going to be a perfect fit for the aggressive style of defense that Ben Johnson wants his team to play.

Bryant earned his ring with the Seahawks and has secured a significant payday with the Bears, but he is a defender who is going to add a lot to the defense that already had the most turnovers in 2026.

Jesse Minter (HC) – Baltimore Ravens

Let’s end this with a head coach change, as the Baltimore Ravens have welcomed back Jesse Minter following his stint as the defensive coordinator with the Los Angeles Chargers.

There is surely a feeling of regret in Baltimore after allowing Mike Macdonald to leave the building in 2024 and replace Pete Carroll in Seattle.

Perhaps an indication they are learning from their mistakes, the Ravens have brought back their former defensive assistant as John Harbaugh’s replacement.

Last season, Minter’s Chargers gave up the fifth-lowest yards allowed per game (285.2), which was slightly better than the Super Bowl winners.

The Chargers were marginally better defending the pass (fifth) than they were defending the run (eighth), but they were still considerably better than the Ravens in both departments.

Of course, getting Lamar Jackson firing will be the biggest question surrounding the defense-minded coach.
