BJP leader George Kurian attributed his Union Minister position to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve. Kurian, reportedly the sole Christian in the Union ministry, shared his thanks after his resignation was accepted by President Droupadi Murmu. His parliamentary term concluded as the BJP opted not to renominate him to the Rajya Sabha.
