@GWHIZZ you might be able coax a bit more life out of it by trying the help here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-box-stuck-on-standby-sky-plus-hd
 
Failing that you'll need to upgrade either to Sky Q (satellite based) or Sky Stream (Internet based). Call Sky to arrange it.
