ICRC RED aircraft to operate from Jeddah to strengthen humanitarian access to Sudan

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (14 May 2026) – In response to the growing humanitarian needs in Sudan, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has begun operating its RED aircraft from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to facilitate the rapid movement of humanitarian personnel supporting its operations in Sudan.
