LAS VEGAS — The lamest of buzz words in sports is “culture.” It’s muttered many times during introductory press conferences, usually from the coach or top executive, and is an easy sell to the fans because it’s difficult to quantify.
Didn’t win a lot of games? Don’t worry, “culture” is being built.
Nobody good wants to sign with the team? Maybe, but look at all this “culture.”
These young players stink? Woah, woah, you’re clearly not seeing the elite levels of “culture” buy-in.
