The new ENGWE L16 e-bike is a longer-travelling commuter that brings “car-level utility for everyday rides,” with the 750W motor here (peaking at 1,500W) able to top out at 28 MPH speeds. The big choice is, obviously, on the battery configuration, giving you either a solo 48V 18Ah battery for up to 70 miles of travel or that same battery with an additional 48V 23Ah battery that increases its range up to 150 miles. Of course, those maximum ranges are possible when using the pedal assistance, while relying on the throttle will decrease the overall mileage. Still, that is some serious traveling power for these low prices.
