Tess Daly was supported by her glamorous lookalike daughter Phoebe Kay backstage at Strictly Come Dancing as she prepared for the quarter final results show.

The TV personality, who raises Phoebe, 21, with her husband Vernon Kay, looked incredible as she hosted the episode alongside Claudia Winkleman.

Following Saturday's live show, Tess, 56, shared a glimpse of her backstage preparations in a post shared to Instagram.

She looked sensational for the show, wearing a £800 pale pink Rebecca Vallance dress that featured bow sleeves.

Tess added inches to her statuesque frame and slipped into a pair of towering silver stilettos.

Meanwhile, Phoebe - who accompanied her backstage and also took a front row seat in the studio audience -  put on a sparkly display in a silver minidress, which featured a high neck and padded sleeves.

The film production student, who splits her time between London and Dubai, completed her glitzy ensemble with a pair of towering closed-toe metallic heels.

Phoebe appeared in high spirits during the episode as she was seen sitting in the audience chatting to her pals.  

While the children of many celebrities follow in their famous parents' footsteps, the statuesque blonde is forging her own path.

She appears to be a natural at handling her growing celebrity status - as the jet-setting university student juggles her studies with red carpet appearances and glamorous family holidays.

But Phoebe previously admitted she would rather work behind the camera and leave presenting to her parents, explaining: 'I like the production and editing side.

'I'd love to act, but will leave presenting to my mum and dad. I'm just trying to understand what I want to do.

'I think you go to uni to figure out what you want to do in life. I'd like to do some work experience, as it's hands-on, even if I start as a runner and work my way up.'

Her parents felt it was best to keep Phoebe and her younger sister, Amber, now 15, shielded from the celebrity world until they could decide whether they 'wanted to be in the spotlight or not', Vernon added.

'Phoebe is very mature,' he continued. 'I've got confidence she will know how to deal with it.' 

Last month, the presenter, 51, took to social media as he wished his 21-year-old daughter a Happy Birthday - as she looked just like Tess's double.

Proud dad Vernon gushed: 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY @phoebekay 21 Today!! The celebrations are gonna be epic!! You’re the best any parent could ask for.'

Phoebe has also taken on the role as an influencer as she documents her enviable lifestyle to a steadily rising follower base.

She made her red carpet debut much later than other nepo babies - waiting until 2023 when she attended the movie premiere of John Wick Chapter 4 in London's Leicester Square.

Phoebe, then 18, looked stylish in a white draped shirt with a pair of shiny black pleather trousers as she walked arm-in-arm with her father, Vernon.

Their outing came after Vernon said he doesn't want his children to live off his and wife Tess's fame, insisting they form 'their own careers'.

At the time, he told the Daily Mail he was looking at drama schools to send Phoebe to where she can combine her passions for acting and business.

While most parents might celebrate the end of their child's A-levels with a pat on the back and takeout, Vernon treated his daughter to a holiday in the world's party capital in June 2023.

No expense was spared for their father-daughter trip that included a stay at the luxurious Casa Maca hotel, where rooms cost upward of £1,000 per night.

The itinerary for Vernon and Phoebe's Spanish getaway included an evening at the glamorous Ushuaïa beach club, where the pair partied with superstar DJ Calvin Harris.
