Advantech said on July 9 that it is recruiting specialized distribution channel partners to expand its data acquisition (DAQ) and industrial network switch business.

The program targets distributors with expertise in DAQ systems and industrial networking products. Applications will be accepted through Aug. 7.

The recruitment covers Advantech's DAQ portfolio and industrial network switches. The DAQ lineup includes the IPC-220, IPC-240 and IPC-242 series, iDAQ modular systems, DAQ cards and USB modules. These products are used for precision measurement and data acquisition in smart manufacturing, factory automation, energy and utility applications.

The industrial networking portfolio includes unmanaged, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches in the EKI-2000, EKI-5000, EKI-7000 and EKI-8000 series, as well as the EKI-9500 railway Ethernet switch series. The products are designed to support industrial network infrastructure deployment across a wide range of operational environments.

Selected partners will receive channel-specific pricing, engineering support, product training, marketing materials and incentive programs.

Advantech said it plans to expand its DAQ and industrial networking business by recruiting distributors with expertise in industries including smart manufacturing, factory automation, energy and utilities, infrastructure, logistics and rail transportation.
