Brace for the 'Big Crunch': Scientists predict when the universe will end - and it's TRILLIONS of years sooner than we thought

The universe will reach the end of its life 33.3 billion years after the Big Bang, according to the new study. Given it is currently 13.8 billion years old, that leaves us with a little less than 20 billion years left.
