Medical experts discussed the latest advances in the field of anaesthesia at a conference on ‘Enhancing Clinical Excellence through Innovations and Advances in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre practices,’ organised by Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences, Ariyur, near here.

In a release, the college said speakers at the conference deliberated on recent advances in anaesthesia practice, patient safety, airway management, massive blood loss management and global career opportunities for anaesthetists and operation theatre technologists.

Students, faculty members and healthcare professionals presented research findings on anaesthesia technology, operation theatre technology, critical care, artificial intelligence in healthcare and patient safety. NCAHP Professional Council Member T. N. Nirmhalaa Natarajan and chairman of the college B. Ramachandiran were among those who spoke.
