Six-year-old Lanakai Morrison went missing from Valhalla Centre and police believe he's with his mother.

An Amber Alert has been issued for six-year-old Lanakai Morrison who was last seen in Valhalla Centre, a hamlet in the County of Grande Prairie.

Police say the child was last seen on July 7 and is believed to be with his biological mother, Krista Morrison and her partner, Daniel Ludwig.

Lanakai is described as being of slight build, with long light brown hair, and brown eyes.

Krista Morrison, 35, is described as five foot eight with long dark-brown hair, and brown eyes.

Ludwig, 35, is five feet eleven inches in height,  with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Morrison and Ludwig are also with another child, four-year-old Karl Morrison.

RCMP say they could be travelling in a 2015 Toyota Tundra with an Alberta licence plate CTN9517.

Do not approach the group if you believe you see or know where they are, said police in a Thursday morning press release. Immediately call police services.
