From the team behind Asia Asia and Lock Stock comes a new Nikkei restaurant and bar

Yas Bay’s dining scene is heating up with a new arrival. Get ready to meet Oro Verde, a sizzling new Nikkei restaurant and bar that’s set to be one of Abu Dhabi’s hottest new tables.

Opening on the waterfront at Yas Bay in the final quarter of the year, Oro Verde promises to bring a vibrant fusion of Japan and Peru, across its design, food and cocktails. From relaxed daytime dining to high-energy evenings, it’s set to bring a fresh take on Nikkei dining – and another new culinary option – to Yas Bay.

Oro Verde is the newest homegrown concept from Solutions Group, the hospitality heavyweights already behind Asia Asia, Central and Lock, Stock and Barrel. Oro Verde marks their fourth venue at Yas Bay, which is also home to Paradiso, Hunter & Barrel, The Lighthouse and Daikan Izakaya.

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty, craftsmanship, and traditions shared by Peruvian and Japanese cultures, guests can look forward to leisurely lunches, date night dinners and sunset drinks in a space that’s designed to be photographed. On the menu, bold flavours and fresh ingredients will take centre stage, combining exceptional hospitality with thoughtfully curated moments

New openings in Abu Dhabi

The capital’s culinary scene will see some big new arrivals in the coming months, from Yas and Saadiyat to The Galleria. Next month, Five Iron will bring its interactive golf and casual dining to Yas Bay, while later this year Saadiyat Grove will welcome the arrival of Dave Chang’s Momofuku and Hanbok will bring Korean flavours to the all-star culinary line-up at The Galleria.
