Christina Hall’s husband Josh joked about 'how long' their marriage would last just last year. 

Ahead of their first wedding anniversary, the 43-year-old realtor, who previously worked as a police officer in California for 16 years, laughed off past remarks about their whirlwind romance, which many predicted wouldn't last. 

'How long will this one last?' he captioned the slideshow, posted on March 31, 2023, 15 months before ultimately making the difficult decision to file for divorce. 

At the time, the mother-of-three, who was seen without her ring for the first time in pictures obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com on Wednesday, commented: 'Better be [infinity emoji]!!!! ❤️.'

In response to her reply, Josh wrote back: 'You know we can't be broken, we just get stronger and stronger.' 

Josh, who has an 'infinity ring' tattooed on his wedding ginger, seemingly believed their relationship was going to stand the test of time as he shared a number of photos of them over the years since they first began dating in March 2021. 

Following their split, a number of trolls returned to the post to poke fun Josh.

'Just under 3 years,' one wrote.

Another mused: 'I guess your question has been answered.' 

Among the sea of unkind comments made at the former couple's expense, a handful expressed that they were 'so sad' because they truly believed the pair had found their soul mate in one another. 

Others left broken heart and crying emojis beneath the post. 

A source dished to People that Josh and Christina 'had issues in the marriage for quite some time' before Tuesday's divorce filing.

This comes exactly four months after Josh declared on Instagram that he and his wife were 'still going strong' after tying the knot in October 2021.

TMZ claimed that the Christina In The Country TV stars submitted their paperwork in Orange County, California on Tuesday. The ex lovebirds stated July 8 was their first day of separation.

Joshua is asking for alimony from Christina and does not want to have to give her any money, the site added.

It was also claimed that Joshua has asked the court to 'divvy up what was theirs respectively before they got married.'

The reality TV stars wed in October 2021 in Maui, Hawaii and have no children together.

This will be a third divorce for Christina who was previously married to Tarek El Moussa (2009-2018) and Ant Anstead (2018-2021).

This comes after Christina and Joshua signed on to star on the 2025 HGTV renovation show The Flip Off with her ex Tarek and his new wife Heather Rae El Moussa.

Christina and Tarek built a home-flipping empire during their show Flip Or Flop which lasted 10 seasons. But it ended after a very publicized divorce.

This year they have been working together again on the new spinoff called The Flip Off with Tarek's wife Heather and Christina's now estranged spouse Joshua.

The show is set to air on HGTV in early 2025 with a two-hour premiere.

'During the series, Tarek and Christina, along with Heather and Josh will compete to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain (and a chance at major bragging rights),' HGTV said on its site.

Christina and Joshua seemed to be doing well earlier this summer as they were seen with her children in Instagram posts.

In March they were seen holding each other and kissing when on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

They were also pictured kissing in the ocean.

'Weekend getaways to Cabo with you are my favorite. (love how it worked out & we traded couple pics on the beach with a professional photographer @allysimonsphoto),' she wrote in her caption as she pointed out she was staying at the Montage in Santa Maria Bay, Los Cabos San Lucas.

Josh also posted: 'Still going strong…03/2024⏪️03/2023⏪️03/2022⏪️03/2021. Cred: @ruthfernandez5.'

Christina then responded to his post: 'Stilllll love you & Cabo.'

Last year they were seen with all three of her kids. 

She has daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, seven, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, who is now wed to Heather Rae El Moussa of Selling Sunset fame.

And Christina also has son Hudson, three, with ex-husband Ant Anstead, who now romances Renee Zellweger.

'Family vacation last week. Not ready (but ready) for kids to go back to school,' she said in her caption.

Last year he gushed over her on her birthday.

'Had the best 40th birthday celebration thanks to my husband and best friend,' Christina wrote on Instagram of her spouse.  

'I walked into the most incredible party where they thought of everything and made all my champagne dreams come true. 

'I feel very lucky to have such amazing people in my life.

'Going into this new decade my goal is to slow the f*** down,' she continued. 'Enjoy the small moments and not rush through life. Take it easier on myself and mostly have fun and enjoy the ride.'
