Follow Daily Mail Sport's live blog for the ring walk times, undercard results and round-by-round updates as Tyson Fury takes on Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Take this with a HUGE pinch of salt... Tyson Fury suggests that if the Anthony Joshua fight does not happen he will be quitting boxing.
What do we reckon to that?
Fury looked fresher, and fought fiercer, but he didn't just pass the eye test: the Gypsy King landed a staggering 199 punches, CompuBox reports, to Makhmudov's 59.
His power punches landed better too, with Fury making 126 of them to the Russian's 46.
Eddie Hearn weighs in on that dramatic call-out:
I'm very confident this fight happens. AJ's not that guy to just get in the ring and start screaming and shouting when there's no contract signed.
I want Anthony Joshua next, the big s***-house, he won't say yes. Terrified. Shaking in his boots.
The usual fighting words from Fury in the ring. The Gypsy King lays down the gauntlet once again.
Given that their coverage signed off trailing it, if somewhat vaguely.
Someone will need to, at some point, inform Anthony Joshua.
I think it's too early for Anthony Joshua. He's just been through a traumatic thing. It feels like they're forcing him to make a decision when he's not ready.
I'm not ducking no one, there's just real stuff happening in my life that I have to attend to.
I run the game. This is what I do. I'm a serious fighter. And strong too. When I hit Fury, I'm going to hit him and hurt him.
I have to (prioritise grieving his two close friends). I'm sorting some things out, my brothers, with their parents - I've got to put that first. That's my priority. If he's serious, you'll me in the ring. The ball will be in his court. I've been here a million times. Once my name is on the dotted line, there's a fight.
I've got to be honest to you, at the moment, there's no fight. When the first bell goes, there's a fight.
Stand down, then. A straightforward and sensible interview from Joshua there, cutting through the noise and bluster Fury has made his brand.
Anthony Joshua confirms that negotiations are ongoing. Ongoing, as they have been for... 10 or so years.
He's the one that retired. I've been standing strong for the last 13 years. It's on him, he goes here, comes back. I'm not chasing clout.
I make the big fights. He works for me.
