A woman who broke her back as Pamela Anderson's stunt double after playing a topless dancer in Patrick Swayze's Road House looked absolutely incredible during a rare outing.

This beauty was just 19 when she started her acting career with the role of Denise, a topless dancer at The Double Deuce dive bar in the 1989 cult classic Road House.

Two years later she was back on the big screen with Swayze in his iconic 1991 film Point Break - a role which prompted the New York Times to dub her 'the babe who nuked Keanu' Reeves. 

This beauty stepped out with her unmissable blonde hair and her husband, a fellow stuntman, in tow during an outing in Los Angeles on Wednesday. 

The star, who has received Emmy nominations for her stunt work, showed off her toned physique in a black T-shirt and comfortable trousers.

Michaels' first acting role was in the 1989 film Road House, where she played Denise, a woman who dances topless at the The Double Deuce dive bar.

Michaels praised Swayze, who passed in 2009, as a 'legend' and a role model to learn from. 

'Without a doubt, he was all business for sure,' she said during an interview with Super Chris Jones. 'All business. He worked really hard. He was a very good leader. He was a perfect person to watch and emulate. I thought he was fantastic. I thought if everybody in Hollywood's like this, this is going to be a breeze.'

In 2022 she remembered Swayze with a rare throwback photo of them, seemingly on the set of Road House.

'Miss his playful spirit! #dalton #swayze #RoadHouse,' she captioned the post.  

She immediately worked with Swayze again in his 1991 film Point Break - and the timing didn't go unnoticed by the Dirty Dancing actor.  

'We were in rehearsals and Patrick came around the corner and he looks at me and he goes, "Are you following me?" And I said, "Yep. Every film you do, I do,"' she told Super Chris Jones. 

Point Break was released in 1991 and her standout performance prompted The New York Times to declare her 'the babe who nuked Keanu.' 

Michaels met her husband, Peewee Piemonte, that same year and they wed in 1993 and welcomed children Vincenzo and Vincent. 

Piemonte credits the success of his own career to his wife, who he says 'helped open doors' for him.  

'I met Julie Michaels, who at the time was an actress. If not for her, I would never have succeeded in this business. She helped open doors for me and made connections to get me started as a coordinator,' he told Voyage LA.  

At Piemonte's suggestion, Michaels became a stunt double after landing in the crosshairs of a stalker.  

'I really love the humility of it ... it’s a way to contribute to the entertainment industry and nobody knows you’ve been there,' she told the LA Times. 

It's a job that is both fulfilling and dangerous. 

Michaels broke her back while working as a double for Pamela Anderson on V.I.P., in a stunt that called for her to jump off of a two-floor building.

But she recovered, stepping up her martial arts and stunt training and returning to work in fighting shape. 

'I’m probably the strongest I’ve ever been,' she told The Times.
