They got engaged at the Rosewood London in September.

And just weeks later, Alexandra Burke and her fiancé Darren Randolph returned to the luxury hotel for her Christmas in the Courtyard event.

The former X Factor winner, 36, revealed earlier this month that the footballer, 37, had surprised her by getting down on one knee at the Rosewood in a 'beautiful' proposal.

And the newly-engaged couple looked more loved-up than ever as they cosied up at the charity bash, hosted by Alexandra and Nick Ede.

The singer nailed festive fashion in a bright red dress, boasting feather detailing and a side slit to show off her long legs.

Alexandra elevated her height with a pair of black high heels, while completing her striking look with voluminous curls and a full face of glamorous makeup.

While Darren wrapped his arms around his stunning partner, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a simple shirt and tie underneath.

The couple share two children together whose names they've chosen to keep private - welcoming their first in June 2022 and second in September last year.

The festive bash was attended by a host of famous faces including Nadiya Bychkova, Dan Walker, Jess Wright, Patsy Palmer and Denise Van Outen.

The event was raising money for The Melissa Bell Foundation and Style for Stroke, charities set up by Alexandra and Nick in memory of their mothers who both died after suffering strokes. 

Alexandra recently opened up on how Darren popped the question, admitting she was shocked as she had thought he 'wasn't ready yet'.

Speaking on HeartRadio earlier this month, she said: 'Yes, the whole thing at the Rosewood London, it was so beautiful. 

'Oh, my goodness. I can't even begin to tell you about that day, because I thought we were celebrating our anniversary, and he just, he blew my mind of how romantic he is because that doesn't happen all the time. 

'He doesn't want to spoil me that's what it is, he wants to keep me on my toes, you know?'

Asked if she thought he was expecting it, she explained: 'No, because I didn't think he had the guts if I'm honest. Because I just thought he's not ready yet.' 

Alexandra admitted she was becoming frustrated that he had not popped the question yet after welcoming their two kids.

She said: 'That's why it's not happened. We’re two kids in it's not happening yet, he’s just not ready, he's not got the guts is what I tell my friends. 

'But in my heart, I was like, please, please, just hurry up with this proposal, because I really want it to happen. 

'I've been on this case for about a year, and that's probably why I thought it wasn't happening. Because I thought I was putting too much pressure to be honest.'

The Strictly Come Dancing runner up shared the happy news of her engagement in September with snaps of her partner down on one knee.

Alexandra looked stunning in a green lace midi dress for the romantic proposal - with a table covered in flower petals seen behind them. 

The singer captioned the snaps with ring emojis as a host of stars wished the couple congratulations. 

'Woooohoooo! ❤️,' comedian Dawn French said, while Mrs Hinch added: '❤️congratulations beautiful ❤️.'

Meanwhile podcast host Elizabeth Day said: 'So so so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️.' 

'CONGRATS BABIES!' said Michelle Visage, while singer Anastacia added: 'Congrats kids❤️❤️.' 

It came just months after Alexandra admitted she is 'desperate' to have a third child with her now-fiance Darren.
