The Unihertz Titan 2 Elite was launched on Kickstarter on March 24, 2026. The standard model is slated to ship to backers in June 2026, while the Titan 2 Elite Pro is expected to ship in October 2026. The Unihertz Titan 2 Elite revives the physical-keyboard smartphone concept with Android features, a productivity-focused design, and BlackBerry-style usability, featuring a tactile, BlackBerry-style QWERTY keyboard that also functions as a built-in touchpad for scrolling.

Although it features a touchscreen, the Titan 2 Elite is aimed at a small group of customers who have never fully adapted to doing everything via touchscreen. It is a 4.03-inch non-square AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 1200 resolution. It is further positioned over a keyboard that resembles a BlackBerry Bold. Moreover, it is a modern smartphone running Android 16, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, with 12 GB of RAM and a 4050 mAh battery.

Those specs place the Titan 2 Elite firmly in upper-midrange territory despite a solidly midrange processor. A version with a slightly more powerful Dimensity 8400 processor will be available later in the year.

Design of the Unihertz Titan 2 Elite

According to the report made by Max Miller in AOL, “The phone is made mostly of aluminum, with thick rails that feel satisfyingly sturdy and have a satisfying heft. The metal back is interrupted only by a kitchen island or a camera bar. Buttons are clicky, though I do wish the power button/fingerprint sensor weren’t flush with the rails, as I have to hunt for it with my fingers. More prominent is the programmable shortcut button, which is an Acme red on this black frame.”

Titan 2 Elite features a rounded aerospace-grade aluminum mid-frame, formed via in-mold injection molding. The frame is finished through 20+ precision steps, including 6 CNC passes and 2 anodizing treatments, to deliver high strength with minimal weight for a premium feel and comfortable grip. It also comes in a classic Black and a more vibrant Orange, with a matte finish.

Unihertz Titan 2 Elite Physical Keyboard

The Titan 2 Elite’s classic physical QWERTY layout mimics the feel of classic BlackBerry devices, but with highly modernized functionality.

  • The keyboard also works as a touchpad. The user can swipe across the physical keys to scroll through webpages and move the cursor without touching the screen. Moreover, swiping up on the keyboard quickly selects candidate words.

  • The user can set dedicated short-press and long-press shortcuts for all A-to-Z keys. For example, long pressing “M” can launch Gmail, or pressing “C” can open the device’s Camera.
  • It has a Mouse mode, which turns the keyboard into a trackpad for easier navigation on the smaller screen. There are also various language options on the physical keyboard, including French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and more.

Core Features and Specifications

The Pro edition features the Dimensity 8400, delivering a truly top-tier experience for power users. Meanwhile, the two versions also differ in storage: the standard edition offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Pro edition packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

  • Battery and Charging: Powered by ATL’s 6th‑gen silicon‑carbon composite anode battery cells with 20% higher energy density, along with smarter power management and an energy‑efficient AMOLED display, Titan 2 Elite delivers longer battery life with its 4050 mAh battery. It also supports 33W fast charging for quick top-ups, keeping the device powered all day long.
  • Expansion and Security: Titan 2 Elite supports dual Nano SIMs to balance work and personal life. The user can also swap SIM 2 for a microSD card to add up to 2TB of extra storage. Plus, built-in eSIM support provides added flexibility. One can use either SIM1 + SIM2 or SIM1 + eSIM as the two active lines. For security, it features both facial recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.
  • Operating System: Titan 2 Elite ships with Android 16 OS. Unihertz commits to 5 years of update support, including OS upgrades up to Android 20 and security patches through 2031.
  • Connectivity and Bluetooth: Titan 2 Elite supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. It covers a wide range of 5G NR bands and supports 4×4 MIMO on selected bands for stronger connections and faster data, where a 5G network is available. It is also connected with Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an IR blaster, and dual-band GPS.

Availability and Pricing

The Unihertz Titan 2 Elite is available globally for pre-orders. The standard price starts at around $489.99 USD (roughly Rs. 41,000) directly on the Unihertz official store. In India, it is not widely available, but one can buy it from specialized retailers.

Final Thoughts

Titan 2 Elite is the most powerful yet most compact device in the Titan series to date, designed to deliver an experience unlike any other. It is designed to be more portable, with a better screen and a more classic QWERTY layout for fast, familiar typing. Moreover, it offers five years of software and security updates. This device aims to revive the practicality of physical keyboards for typing messages, emails, and documents, rather than focusing on mainstream modern smartphone features, and it provides the same efficiency as other phone models.
