A Special 50th Anniversary ALDE Congress Celebration 

About the event 

As Europe’s liberals gather in Vienna to mark 50 years of the ALDE Party, this is a moment to celebrate not only our shared history but the values that have always defined liberalism: freedom, equality, and human dignity. On the eve of the ALDE Congress, The Alliance Of Her and the Rainbow Platform, together with Fredrich Naumann Foundation and European Liberal Forum, join forces to host House of Freedom — a celebration rooted in the heart of the 50th anniversary campaign. 

In an era where equality is too often dismissed as ideological, House of Freedom reclaims the narrative. Diversity is not a trend. It is the foundation of a liberal Europe — one that expands individual liberty, broadens opportunity, and strengthens shared prosperity. When every person can contribute freely and authentically, our democracies grow stronger, our institutions more legitimate, and our societies more resilient.
